On Tuesday, 17 June 2025, it was a very dynamic day at the Celje Youth Centre. We delivered seven different workshops as part of the BIB project for seven second-year classes of Gimnazija Celje – Center. The workshops focused on mental health and active citizenship, exploring how social media use and school-related stress affect young people’s mental well-being today. We also carried out a number of interactive sessions in which young people were shown how they can actively contribute to positive change in society while simultaneously strengthening their own mental health.

Young people participated in the workshops with enthusiasm, and the feedback showed that the sessions were engaging, interactive, and informative. Many participants highlighted that they learned more about active citizenship, emotional well-being, and the importance of expressing their own opinions. Group activities, open discussions, and an inclusive approach were particularly well received. Participants expressed great enthusiasm and left the event with new perspectives on active participation in society and the importance of mental health.
