National Activities – Youth Workshops
At the end of March and beginning of April, youth activities were successfully launched in Serbia. Three trainers who had previously participated in the training of trainers held in Subotica, designed and delivered two-hour workshops covering various topics related to youth mental health.
A total of 43 young people participated in the workshops, all of whom were high school students between the ages of 15 and 18.
During the sessions, participants engaged in various interactive activities aimed at strengthening emotional intelligence and supporting mental well-being. These included topics related to creativity, storytelling and entrepreneurship for youth, along with the analysis of real-life situations, and the development of encouraging messages.
Through group work, reflection and presentations, the students developed practical strategies for recognizing and managing emotions, while improving their self-confidence and empathy.
In the next phase of the project, these young participants will take an active role by organizing and implementing activities and workshops for their peers, with the support of experienced trainers and youth workers. Between April and September, a total of 432 young people will be involved in these peer activities.
