National Activities – Workshops for Young People
At the end of March and the beginning of April, we launched youth activities in Slovenia. Three trainers who had taken part in the training in Subotica prepared two hours of workshops on various topics related to young people’s mental health. A total of 43 young people participated in the workshops, all secondary school students aged between 15 and 18.
During the workshops, we carried out a range of activities aimed at strengthening emotional intelligence and mental well-being, such as creating vision boards, analysing life situations, using emotion cards, and creating encouraging messages. Through group work, reflection, and presentations, students developed strategies for recognising and managing emotions, while also building self-confidence and empathy.
In the next phase, these young people will conduct activities and workshops for their peers, of course with the support of experienced trainers and youth workers. Between April and September, we will involve 432 young people in these peer-to-peer activities!
